Two Years of Passion: The Story of The Forgotten Realms
The Story of the Server!
More than two years of development, testing and improvements around World of Warcraft Vanilla 1.12

The Beginning
The Forgotten Realms officially begins inside a virtual machine running vMaNGOS with VBot1. This first version acts as a testing ground to experiment and build the foundations of the future server.
First Bare-Metal Server
The project leaves the virtualized environment and is migrated to its first physical server. This milestone provides better performance and greater stability for future development.
Testing, Scripts & Evolution
For more than a year, the server evolved through extensive testing with around ten passionate players. Scripts were improved, bugs fixed and gameplay refined to gradually shape the identity of TFR.
A Valuable Contribution
Special thanks to Digital Scriptorum, Wall from Wallcraft, Brotalnia, Nothell (Gae), Kreb84, Vanish, Brutaldeath and DrMayhem13 for their help, tools, advice and valuable contributions to the project.
First Public Release
The project becomes publicly available with the first version of the website, featuring account creation and live server status. A dedicated security policy is progressively implemented.
Complete FusionCMS Website Rebuild
Development of the new FusionCMS website featuring a complete Armory, Vote Point Shop, PvP rankings, news system, player tools and a fully modernized interface. Special thanks to Nightprince from the FusionCMS Team.
TFR Launcher V1 Completed
TFR Launcher V1 is completed. It provides automatic HD client download, simplified installation, addon management and an easy setup experience for every new player.
New Infrastructure
The next major milestone will be the migration to a new bare-metal server powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX, 64 GB DDR5 memory and a Crucial T500 NVMe SSD to prepare the future of The Forgotten Realms.
And This Is Only the Beginning...
The Forgotten Realms continues to evolve with new features, community events, regular improvements and an increasingly powerful infrastructure.
